What to expect

1. Come as You Are
We welcome everyone, no matter your background, experience with church, or where you are in life. Dress is as varied as we are, though comfort is encouraged. 2. Worship Style Services include music, prayer, Scripture, and a message that speaks to everyday life. We gather around Word and Sacrament, and everyone is invited to participate. 3. Everyone Has a Place Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, there’s a place for you at the table. Children, families, and people of all ages are welcome. |
4. Holy Communion
We celebrate Communion every week. Everyone is invited, regardless of membership, church background, or anything else. This is God's table, who are we to deny you? 5. Practical Details We worship liturgically, so it will have some structure with Gather, Word, Meal, Sending. Services usually last about an hour, and we use screens and a bulletin to guide us. 6. Getting Connected We love helping visitors find ways to join our community. You can meet people before or after worship, as well as sign our friendship pads for followup by Pastor Kevin. |
Visiting Zion for the first time? You’ll find a community that welcomes you exactly as you are. Our worship is a mix of music, prayer, Scripture, and a message meant to speak to everyday life, and everyone is invited to take part. Children, families, and people of all ages are fully included, and our table is open for Communion to anyone who wishes to receive. Services are relaxed and accessible, and we’re happy to help with any accommodations you might need. After worship, there’s always a chance to meet people, ask questions, and find ways to get involved.
