No, in all these things we are more than victorious through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:37-39

What we believe

1. God’s Love is for Everyone
We believe God’s love, grace, and forgiveness are given freely to all people, no exceptions. Nothing can separate us from that love.
2. Jesus Shows Us the Way
We follow Jesus Christ, who reveals God’s heart for the world, especially for the hurting and the questioning, and the overlooked.
3. Grace at the Center
We don’t earn God’s love; it’s a gift. In response, we live with gratitude, compassion, and hope.
4. The Bible as Living Story
We read the Bible as the living story of God’s love and faithfulness. It inspires, challenges, and guides us, and we wrestle with it together in community.
5. Sacraments as God’s Gifts
In Baptism, God names and claims us as beloved. In Holy Communion, we are fed with God’s grace and strengthened for service, and everyone is welcome at Christ’s table.
Yes, we commune everyone.

6. Faith is a Journey
We believe faith grows through questions, community, and action. We walk together, even when we don’t have all the answers.
7. Called to Love and Serve
God sends us into the world to work for justice, care for creation, and love our neighbors near and far.

At Zion, our beliefs shape how we live, gather, and serve. We trust in a God whose love reaches everyone, and we follow Jesus as our guide in showing that love to the world. Grace is at the center of our lives, calling us to act with compassion, hope, and generosity. The Bible is our story, inspiring and challenging us as we explore it together. Through Baptism and Holy Communion, we experience God’s presence and are strengthened for life in community and service. Faith for us is a journey, full of questions, learning, and growth. We walk it together, seeking ways to care for our neighbors, work for justice, and nurture the world God has made.
